Description: Employment Services are designed to provide employment retention services to St. Louis City residents with developmental disabilities. Through the utilization and development of natural supports as well as by implementing a holistic approach in supporting individuals with disabilities, Life Skills' Employment Services has been successful in assisting individuals in developing the skills necessary for them to maintain employment.
The Supported Living Program emphasizes the development of skills that allow individuals with disabilities to live successfully in their community independently or with some level of natural supports. The emphasis of this program is on building the skills necessary for individuals to be more self-reliant and less dependent on family or paid supports for daily living needs.
