Description: Parents Learning Together (PLT) assists parents with developmental disabilities acquire the skills needed to safely raise their children. Reducing stressors in the parent child relationship through positive discipline, stabilizing home-life (including making informed decisions about having additional children) and helping families learn about their resources are the first steps toward the eventual employment of young parents, particularly as pressures on parents increase with changes in public assistance.

Alternative Employment (Job Retention) provides individualized employment support and services that focus on maintaining meaningful work. Retention services are essential for many individuals in maintaining their employment. The Retention Specialist ensures that an individual's vocational skills are maintained.
