Description: Out and About Program responds to the needs of St. Louis City adults with physical developmental disabilities by assisting them in overcoming barriers which prevent full participation in living more independently in the community. The program focuses on engaging individuals in community events, providing transportation education, assisting with advocacy issues, and helping with social networking.
The annual Sports Camp is held in the summer at Veteran's Memorial Park North County Recreation Complex. Individuals from age 6 through 20 with developmental disabilities are eligible to attend. Transportation is provided in specially equipped vans and buses.
