Description: The WORTH Industries' Sheltered Workshop provides dignified and meaningful employment for persons with developmental disabilities. Because of mental or physical limitations, these individuals are unable to engage in competitive employment.
The Pre-Sheltered Workshop Program is designed to provide training for persons with disabilities that allows them to gain the skills, levels of productivity, work behavior, and work ethic necessary to meet the entrance criteria for employment in a sheltered workshop. The program is designed to provide assistance, support and training for the employee/consumer that has little or no previous work experience.
